Well I can see the car has been called that - but do you know the name of the original factory car?

In 2009 a guy, called Pin Jung Yang uploaded a video to Youtube on his "Electric Tricar". He was contacted by TheEcoBoomer. So I assume this video shows the original. It is simply labelled as "electric tricar" from Homedense

The car is supposedly produced by Fuzion Motor LLC (Although Fuzion may just be the name of an importer/exporter).  It carries the name "Electric Tricar" or "Electric Tricar2"

Once again, we have an apparently Chinese-built car that's known by many names.
The name I have has not been mentioned yet...

I've looked at Yangzhou Wuhuanlong Electric Vehicle China - and it may or not assemble this vehicle. Getting to the bottom of who originated this design could be problematic, but one brand looks more likely than others

I recently acquired a book where this car is called Taser, Chinese-made by the Australian company Trident Tricars.  ;)

I think Wendax is correct regarding the name Taser by Trident Tricars, however I have located an online reference that may shed a bit more light on the subject.  Trident Tricars Inc. (USA) is a wholly owned entity of Asian Dragon International Corporation, which is based in the Philippines, and whose founder, President, and CEO is Mr. Robert Sullivan, an Australian who was (is?) residing in the Philippines.  According to the website (dated June 2011), the Taser was a new design which was radically different than the other Trident models (a single rear wheel rather than a single front wheel) being offered at that time.  Whether the Taser, or any other Trident designs are currently available is unknown to me.
