Is this some Daihatsu Copen based concept?

Well unless someone has revived it and I can't find any mention it could be described as a Superbug instead of just a Bug.

Banham Bug

Based on a Rover 100 or Metro
Not based on Rover or Metro

The badge of this car is not Bug or Superbug

Well I will wait to see what the correct answer is but the dashboard is from a Metro as are the seats and the body shell is the Banham moulding (google banham superbug).

It seems to be the same car, maybe you're right, but is not badged as a Banham, and not based on Rover or Metro.

I googled it and found the same car tagged as Banham Kit Car. I think you're right.
Locked for you. Find the based car

As I said before the Banham is based on an Austin metro (Rover 100) chassis (literally cut the roof off at the top of the windscreen and the take all the bodywork off to the chassis at the back)
The dashboard and seats are from the Metro. So I am finding it hard to work out what the builder claims the donor car to be.
Unless anyone else can suggest a car the same size as a metro which would fit under the superbug bodyshell.

Otherwise no idea....

The badges all over this car claim to be based on a different car. I took the picture myself.

Definetly Austin Metro L.
You left an huge clue on your pic: how many TriVette's are out there on display in a Museum?
A quick search in Miami Auto Museum inventory did the rest.

Well I think I was confused then, because the badge said otherwise. I'm going to declared solved. The badges claimed to be Mini Cooper 1275S. I'll give the point to gilescooperuk, for insisted in Banham Austin Metro, and he was right. Sorry for the mess. :bag:
