Ever seen this ?

I did, but I'll be damned if I remember where. So all I am left with is a rather dubious identification.
If you know better, please respond below and let us know the "make and model" of the car posted here.
A complete answers will be appreciated (and rewarded with 2 points).

If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer. You can do so by clicking here.
Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier.

Thanks!

I've seen it, but I don't know what it is.

It appears in this video after the Davis - from about 1:06. Unfortunately they don't identify it.

Welll, at least we've got a swell color picture of it now!

I had captioned it "Popular Mechanics 1948", I don't know why. There were no color photograps in the magazine in 1948.

It's a still from the video I posted earlier.

Quote
Popular Mechanics produced short films in the 1940s and 50s that showcased technology of the near and distant future. This short was released on May 21, 1948 and featured "streamlined marvels on wheels."

I do not know what this is, so I place it here instantly.

The file name tells you all the fact I have.

Can you identify this one and proof your guess?

Is this the same car?  It has a one-piece windscreen, side windows and no headlamps.

I would say it's almost certainly the same car at a different stage of construction.
I can't imagine they would forget doors on 2 different cars..!
