I agree.  You can see the similarity to the Ferrari 365GT 2+2 from the same era, which is colloquially known in this country as the "Queen Mary"!
e.g. the very long rear overhang, and the general shape of the rear.  Far less successful though.

Yes, that 365/400/412 similarity shares the influence and the era and threw me off as well. As did the Opel. Nice work!

Actually that's not the car I meant.
That's a 412, which developed out of the 365GT/4 2+2.
I know the 365s are confusing, but the car I meant was the 365GT 2+2:
