200 is not what I'm waiting.  You can have 200, 450 or 550 but between Lambretta and one of these numbers, I want the name of this model.  Lock for you still kwgibbs.

I'm quite sure that the correct name is Innocenti Lambro 550; Lambretta is the name of the scooter produced by Innocenti from 1950 till 1971, but not a marque.

Maybe not in its home country, but it was certainly marketed under the marque name Lambretta in the UK; I don't know about elsewhere.  There was absolutely no mention of Innocenti in the UK, which would actually have seemed quite an odd name being so close to 'innocent' with an 'i' on the end.  Maybe that's why.

I suppose that the picture shows an italian Lambro because of the red stripe on the front that was necessary when you wanted to carry your own goods. On the windscreen you can see also the two-pockets label (one for the insurance voucher, the other for the tax).  So I'm sure in Italy we never had a Lambretta Lambro (that would have been as strange as a Vespa Ape) and it's an Innocenti Lambro.
I was wrong with the model...it's actually a 175 and not a 550 (that had two front lights).

Hello Targhediferro,
My source explain that's a Lambretta Lambro and product by Innocenti.
Innocenti use the name "Lambretta" because her factory, who build scooter, was in Lambrate, near Milan.  I don't know if the car Lambro was build in this place.
I think, if Kwgibbs propose me Innocenti and not Lambretta, I woud accept.

Innocenti produced scaffolding-pipes in Lambrate (on Lambro river); in late forties Innocenti began to built the scooter Lambretta that was a great success in Italy, with selling numbers close to Piaggio Vespa's one. Some years later a three wheels little truck went in production, it was named Lambro. I know that in UK (years later) it was sold as Lambretta Lambro, but I suppose that an Italian vehicle should be named with its italian name.  But that's just my opinion, feel free to keep the name you like. ;)
