It would be quite interesting to find photos of the other vehicles commissioned by King Zog and produced by Keibl.
My knowledge of what took place in Albania ca 1935 to 1945 is extremely limited but I find it hard to understand how so many exotic vehicles seem to have completely disappeared.
Certainly, many hundreds if not thousands of similar vehicles survived in Western Europe and are still being seen in shows and being sold in auctions today.
Is it possible that there was a completely different attitude towards such examples of "capitalism" in the Eastern European/Balkan countries and that they were all destroyed?
Or, perhaps converted into trucks and run into the ground.
I do note that a lot of the Packard inspired limousines and sedans made in the Soviet Union in the 1930's and 1940's seem to have also not survived so maybe my theory is not so far fetched. Although they were driven by the "apparatchik" or however it is spelled, maybe the common folk just said "get rid of them".
Any ideas??
