« on: October 25, 2013, 03:35:57 PM »
Can anyone help to identify this car?

I have just a scarce info and I don't know what it is. Any suggestions or ideas are welcome!

Do you know where it's from?  South America?

I think it is from North America - USA or Canada. It is said to be a VW-based one-off vehicle. But it looks much familiar.

Unmistakeable highly modified Alta GT, from Dune Buggy Inc., Denver Colorado. Headlight bucket shape is a match, front nose styling is a match, for the Alta GT.

Excellent! You have an adorable knowledge of these kitcars!!

I will soon award you a point, but this Alta GT (Dune Buggy) company is a mystery name to me. Do you have some information for the archive/record about it (production period, base car, person involved, etc. etc.)?

DuneBuggyArchives & priceofhistoys. There, you can read a little bit about this obscure manufacturer. I must make a correction. Dune Buggy Inc. was not in Denver, but in Englewood, Colorado.
