The chassis and the body are US-american.

It is indeed a converted Ford model T.
But this conversion was not executed by Mercury.

Found it. Unfortunetly the long article is not in any language I can speak or read so I'll have to proceed gueesing the names I recognize like Coachbuilders...Morton & Brett?
