Yes, the basis car was italian and of fine breed.

A german racing driver has ordered a replacement for the original bodywork.

This new body can be seen here.

Well, I was looking in German for 'rebodied Osca German driver' and then I found a site with lots of B/W pics including this one. Just checked the website again, the year is 1954
