This appears to be the plaster buck for a copy body.  Are you looking for the original car or the copy?

It's not for a copy of anything; it's the buck for an original car which as far as I know has never been copied.

I managed to find the image I remembered.
Its described on the site as a "Mid 60's Ferrari Dino Racer built for a film"
Looking at it, it resembles the 1967 Ferrari Dino 206 Competizione Prototype by Pininfarina , which would date this mould plug after that I would think.

I cant read Japanese so hit a wall actually finding the name of the film the car featured in, but I believe its the car in the tiny photo showing just its front end.
The movie must be well known in japan as it appears a model kit was made of the car and what appears to be a storyboard from the film is on the web.

Looks like some kind of duel between the Dino and a Porsche 930?

No problem.  I was barking up a totally wrong tree.  I was thinking of the low volume British car maker (I thought it was Chevron) who couldn't afford to do any wind tunnel testing so they simply copied a Porsche body with a couple of cosmetic changes that they knew wouldn't affect the aerodynamics too much.

Found out the car was called "Yatabe RS" and was actually made out of aluminium.
I believe the movie it was made for was called "The Circuit Wolf" and was derived from a Japanese comic book series of the same name.

I thought it may be a repost when I was trying to attach the large photo as "Yatabe RS" and the forum told me it was already taken.

It was fun finding out about it anyways, always nice to find out about the good looking cars. :)
