Voisin, three-track project. "Voiture de l'avenir", presented at the Paris Salon, 1934. Six seater, driver in the center.

Sources: 1.Stromlinienauto's in Europa und USA, Aerodynamik imPKW-Bau 1900 bis 1945. (Ralf Kieselbach). Book shows line-drawings and gives short description.
2. Automobilia No 9, toutes les Voitures Francaices 1935, Salon 1934 (Rene Bellu). Pictures of scale model & description design & history.


My comment: Later on Philippe Charbonneaux ('Ellipsis' project), Pininfarina (Projects "X',1960; 'Y', 1962) and others were experimenting with three-track cars

But I´m not sure if you should reveil your sources here.

And yes, the diamond wheel pattern has been used many times.
