I don't know if this particular car did take part in the Vanderbilt races, but the make as such did certainly part. A clue :Vanderbilt IS part of the name of this car  ;)

This is a 1910 12.7 litre Corbin Vanderbilt Cup racer.
That's the car, a point for you. The pic is from a classic car dealer in Europe who had the car for sale a while ago, so I assume the description of the car is correct. Whether the engine is incorrect I don't know. Here's another pic of the car
