Don't be so sure. It's patently a styling buck/clay model, but of what ? It looks a lot like an early 50s Ford Taunus, maybe a proposed smaller model?

No, it's not a Ford, but you're around the mark with the date.

It's the "Dick Burzi team" proposal for the Austin A30. Having said that, didn't we have that one in the last few months ?

Austin A30?

Yes, it's a model for the A30.
But it's not by Dick Burzi and it wasn't called the A30 at the time!
Nevertheless, since you've got the right project I'll lock it for you to have another go.

Same would have applied to you nicanary if you'd got there first, but you didn't so you'll have to wait your turn!

As I think it was someway locked for me, I confirm that's the first clay model by Bob Koto on what, at that moment, wasn't an A30 yet, but was the development of so called Dancan's Dragonfly, 1951.

Yes, it was locked for you so wingroad shouldn't have replied, but the answer he has given is correct in that it was by Bob Koto.  No point for him for that though..

There is still one question remaining to be answered so this puzzle is locked for targhediferro - what was the car called at the time of this model?

The Bob Koto hadn't a proper name (perhaps the project code was A2S, but this is not a name);  anyway, a very close view on the front grill of the clay, allowed to see that the car wasn.t badged as Austin A30, or Austin Seven, but as Austin 25.  I understand that no reason is known about this fact.
So I suppose the name you are searching for is Prototype of Austin 30, by Bob Koto, 1951, badged as Austin 25.

Sorry but you did answer when it was locked for targhediferro so I can't count the reply.
Can't remember what happened last time but I'll have a look back and see if you should have had something.

Please be careful to respect the locks.  They are there to make the game fair.

Yes, Austin 25 is what I was looking for so it's another point for you.

I checked back but you didn't get it right last time; your answer said it was by Bob Koto but in fact it was Dick Burzi's design, so you didn't incorrectly lose the point.  But you did learn from that and got it right this time saying it was by Bob Koto, only unfortunately you were not entitled to answer.   Keep trying though - your day will come!
