This is the Mako Volkslastauto, built in 1926 by the Norddeutsche Waggonfabrik in Bremen. 1 ton payload, 20 hp engine.  :)

I got my information from a book. The Norddeutsche Waggonfabrik AG was founded in 1907 and mainly built trams and railroad chassis. In 1926 they tried unsuccessfully to enter the light truck market with the Mako Volkslastauto. It had a four-cylinder engine beneath the driver's seat, a three-speed gearbox and the rear axle was driven by a Cardan shaft.
