Its the unfinished Dennis Adams designed Probe 7001 prototype (or 7000 as its also listed) from 1971
Based on Jaguar S type suspension, rear mounted V8 Oldsmobile 425 and a central driving position.

The Probe company went bankrupt before it was completed.

It was a shame it was never finished, I think it would have looked quite striking and very futuristic.

Heres a photo showing the rear mounted Olds 425 (out of a FWD Toronado) the centre steering wheel, and the proposed headlight array.

I always admired the Adams Brothers, they really worked miracles to get their cars built, just too ahead of their time for most.
