For one point, specify the year, make, coachbuilder, and engine used in this old bus.

I "captured" this photo in 2010 and 2011 without thinking much about it. Just a really cool bus.
So, and I may not be 100% accurate, I think it is>>>>>>>

A Rochet Schneider from 1937.
Coachwork by perhaps Grenoble  e Cheboud??
Original motor was a 4 cyl later replaced by a 6 cyl Delahaye motor.

Hope I am on track.

Point awarded to Bill Murray.  I thought it was a cool looking bus as well.

I have it as a 1937 Rochet-Schneider with a 6-cylinder Delahaye motor.

Is the coachbuilder Grenoble and Cheboud?  Cheboud from Grenoble?  I'm not sure

Grenoble is a city, so I would vote for Cheboud as the body builder.

I found that this bus owns to a French Hotellier, M.Pelissier, and it is used from 1945 to carry pilgrims from the city of Corps to the Sanctuary of Saint Mary de la Vallette.  The coachbuilder, I never heard before, seems actually to be M.Chaboud from Grenoble.

Thanks Fabrizio for verifying and adding additional information on this one.

Amazing that we find these one off vehicles on the forum and are able to complete their histories.

Do you know if the vehicle still exists?
