Initial concept prototype for the mark one Land Rover Freelander  based on a chopped up Honda CRV.Design by Gerry McGovern and led to Pathfinder and Odin concepts circa early 90's

When was this prototype created within Land Rover?  It is based upon a Honda, but the model name wasn't "CRV" (or "CR-V")

I accidentally left this out of the initial post:  What was the prototype called?

It was called Cyclone/Lifestyle, built by Rover Special Products in 1989
