It is a Cadillac, not from 1939, not by Glaser.

Congratulations to FrontMan for becoming an expert!  Is there another Rookie who wants to take on this puzzle?

1938 Cadillac with coachwork by Reinbolt Y Christie of Switzerland.

And the quick, correct answer earns Bill Murray a point.

My research produced Many spellings of the coachbuilder's name.  I will go with Reinbolt & Christe.

Sorry, Cuda, I have been sitting on this one for a week and got excited.
Mistyped, should have been Reinbolt & Christe with accent on the e, just as you say.
Also have seen the spelling Rheinbolt but I think that was wrong.

I started off with Rheinboldt and Christie.  I went with the Google result which showed the most results containing coachbuilt cars.

Not to beat this to death, but this is how the coachbuilder wanted it spelled.
