When Lancing-Bagnall wanted to enter the motor car market, they hired Granville Bradshaw (previously of ABC) to design the cars - the result was the Lancing-Bagnall Bradshaw Utility which has recently featured as a puzzle here...  ;)

Like Coventry Climax, Lansing Bagnall was a fork-lift-truck maker of repute.
Not far from their Basingstoke HQ they had a country house, Elvetham Hall, as a residential management training establishment which, some 35 years ago, our company leased for staff accommodation during the Farnborough Airshow.
