Not exactly a streamline design.

For one point, please respond and identify this van.

Lieferwagen
It's pretty obvious that it is a delivery van.  ;D
Stafa
That's written on the side, but it is not the manufacturer's name.
Switzerland
Not from there

I am nowhere close on this puzzle, but Stafa GMBH seems to have been an Austrian "Rundfunk" or radio company of some sort if that helps any members out.

There is virtually nothing out there on this vehicle but with my model railroad background I found a reference to.....

Gräf & Stift Universal......

It was a very poorly done N scale (1:87 scale) model that barely looked like the puzzle photo.

There is always hope.

That's what it is! Well done, another point for you.

BTW, isn't N scale 1:160?  ;)

Brain Fart >:( >:(

I just spent three hours in my basement/cellar trying to clear out 50 years of collecting railroad stuff to put in my/now my son's HobbyTown USA store and 95% of it is HO scale (1:87) and I just automatically typed in that scale.

Thank you for the point and the advertisement.  The only real photo I have seen.

Coming back to this very late. The Universal was FWD and was built under licence from the German Hansa company in cca 1930. Info and pictures are courtesy of the official archive
