Weird one this, like a cross between a Chrysler and an Audi. :o

I will guess its a Skoda prototype of some sort to get the ball rolling. :)

Specificity:  Not from the Americas, Africa, former Soviet countries, or England.

From the sweep in the doors I would say Opel Insignia base?

Not Opel based.  Bespoke aluminum chassis, if I read the translation correctly.

And WayneB gets the point for the correct answer.

Until this puzzle, I had no idea that Turkey was considered to be in both "SouthEast Europe" and "Western Asia".

Has anyone seen any technical details on this car?  One translation I found, indicates it has an aluminum chassis.

Hi cuda:

The extra knowledge we get from this site!!!!!!!!!!

Look at a high resolution map of the immediate area of Istanbul, Turkey.  That is "Istanbul, not Constantinople".

You will see there is a definite body of water, which I have not identified yet, separating that small part of Turkey from what is considered "Western Asia".  From what I can determine, that small portion of Turkey is considered part of "SouthEast Europe" and has been a bone of contention for perhaps centuries.

In modern times, it has become an issue in terms of such things as NATO membership, EEU membership and a host of other Pan European organizations that cannot seem to decide to which part of the world does Turkey really belong to.

For myself, I am pretty much neutral.  Even though everyone says it will kill me, at 73 I still smoke Camel cigarettes, a "Turkish=Domestic Blend" dating from 1913 :drive: :drive:
Cheers
Bill

I thought Turkey was in Asia as well until I looked at a recent map.

I read that the Etox has a Renault sourced Diesel engine, but couldn't find any other reference to a mainstream auto manufacturing partner.

Turkey is in both continents, Europe and Asia.
Istanbul itself sits astride the Straights of Bosphorus, eash side connected by a (British-built!) suspension bridge.  So Istanbul is also in both Europe and Asia!
