No points for the make of car, but earn 1 point by telling me the significance of this car, who built it, who is sitting in the driving seat, who the car was destined for and what its registration number was!

ANYONE FOUND GIVING ANSWERS OBTAINED BY USING GOOGLE SEARCH BY IMAGE MAY BE BANNED FOR AN INDETERMINATE PERIOD!

Nash-Healey prototype exhibited at the 1950 Paris Motor Show. It was built by Panelcraft Sheet Metal Co. LTD of Woodgate Birmingham.
It was given to Petula Clark by Donald Healey. The girl in the car is Ann Hulme, daughter of the owner of Panelcraft Sheet Metal Co.
PET 1 was the registration number.

Oh, that was easy.
Did you just Google 'Nash-Healey' then?

However, it wasn't the prototype..
I'll lock it for you to have another look and tell me what it was?

The 2nd paragraph is all-correct though, and it was built by Panelcraft.  Its registration was PET 1 too.

The car isn't the prototype, it's the first off production line and the girl in the car is Ann Hedges, the daughter of Len Hedges of Panelcraft, later to become Mrs Hulme.
I must admit that knowing it was a Nash-Healey, made finding the answer to this puzzle quite easy, I do use the Internet, but not the image search, I'm new on this forum and hope I haven't done anything wrong.
