I guess you are right and my source (a French magazine) is wrong. The logo at the front convinces me. I had another train builder: Jourdain-Monneret.
Well, there must have been some strong connection to Jourdain-Monneret, as they featured this train on the title of their brochure together with the Autelec built by them:
