Willys Capeta Boulevard, 1964

ropat53

1963 Willys Boulevard, it is a Willys Overland do Brasil one off prototype based on the Aero Willys 2600, earlier than the Capeta.

I know you know your South American cars but this doesn't quite tally with any of the information I can find.  I got this car from a Brazilian site and have checked it with a couple of other Brazilian sites but can only find that it's a Willys Capeta Boulevard prototype from 1964, not 1963.  The Capeta was introduced in 1964, so if indeed this car does date from that year it is entirely feasible that Capeta is right, so...

Willys Capeta Boulevard, 1964

...I'm going to give the point to targhediferro because that's what I have too.
If anyone comes up with definitive proof that I am wrong and ropat53 is right then it can always be changed, but I have to go with what I have.

The Boulevard and the Capeta were completely different cars. The Boulevard was a 2 + 2 coupe made on an Aero Willys platform and the Capeta was a 2 passenger GT with space frame chassis and Aero Willys engine.
I'll PM you the Brazilian sites where I got the information from.
Once more it's not the point I'm after, I have a time zone problem, most new puzzles are posted very early for me to answer, by the time I'm up in the morning they're in the solved section.

It was constructed by Brasinca, the same company that made the 4200 GT (later Uirapuru GT), Mangalarga, Passofino, Quarto-de-milha and Andaluz.
