I'm pretty certain dzima has the answer here.
The interesting part of the story is comparing the UK Avelle kit here with the US Mullen kit.

One website said that the Mullen M11 / Mullen GT is the same body mold over a revised chassis that allows a GM LS-series V8 to be installed rather than the various 4 and 6-cylinder powerplants applicable to the Avelle.
