Solved TGF-72: Dashboard multiple quiz
« on: March 16, 2013, 12:17:59 PM »
To all rookies: since today I decided to leave my quiz in your section for three days only.  Then, if nobody will try to guess and show to walk on the right path, I'll move them to Experts.
That's a multiple quiz:  Here you are 8 dashboards, every car identified a point.

For Experts: no more than a single target every day, so you can give more than an answer in the same day but only about the same item; the following day you'll be allowed to answer about another item, both if you had guessed the previous one or not.

72e is a 1949-1950 Kaiser Virginian - the only hardtop Kaiser produced.  The model had a small, separate center window between the front and rear door glass.  This picture conveniently obscures the rear frame of the center window.   :)
1949 and 1950 Kaisers are essentially indistinguishable.  The Kaiser plant made no model year changes between 1949 and 1950, only raised prices and added a couple new exterior paint colors.  The 1951-model year cars were introduced in early 1950 as a result.

Very good Hiawatha...do you know the name of the mother in law of the man who sold the red leather used for the seats? Locked for this answer....It's a joke, of course, a well deserved point for you.  When will be possible to answer at your quizzes?

72b looks like it has a Nardi wheel.
The rest of the dash looks like the 1965+ Renault Caravelle coupe.
I think they were bodied by Frua, so perhaps this is a Frua prototype?

Frua is correct, but not a prototype, a little numbers production.

Ah!  What about the Lloyd Alexander TS Coupe, built by Frua between 1958-1961?
It essentially shared the Caravelle coupe's body but added the funky front bumper.
