Solved TGF-279: Carrozzeria Italo-Argentina, Milano
« on: November 14, 2013, 08:20:41 AM »
This picture is taken from a publicity advice of a quite obscure coachbuilder.  I've ideas about the car but it doesn't form a part of the quiz, I just need the name of the coachbuilder.

The car looks like a Lancia from just before or just after WW1, so is the coachbuilder Italian?

Tom_I is on the right path, I think too that it is a Lancia, perhaps a Trikappa, but I don't know it for sure.  Otherwise I'm sure that the coachbuilder was Italian.

I'm not sure if this is obscure enough, but how about: Carrozzeria Luigi Dalla of Schio (Vicenza).

I think it's quite obscure too, but it's not the right one.

I agree with you, it would have been less obscure but it was anyway wrong.

Probably not obscure enough, but how about Locati & Viarengo?

Not that one, and in my opinion more obscure.

I understand Varesina did some prototypes for Lancia as well as buses.  Anyway, how about Carrozzeria Barbi?

You're right, I didn't mean to contest it, but no, neither Varesina, nor Barbi.  Perhaps my previous answer may be undestood as a clue, so I precise that I've no idea if this couachbuilder did some buses too.
