It looks like a "quality" marque to me, and seems to be fairly large. We've had everything except RR and Napier, and I'm sure it's not either of those. Disc wheels are confusing - they're more often seen on cars from Germany or Eastern Europe.

Is this a low-volume short-lived marque?

Sorry Nicanary, Ropat53 got it. It's indeed a Cubitt K4 from 1925.

For some reason I had always thought the Cubitt to be a much smaller car. It's quite an interesting story - S F Edge of Napier and AC fame was brought in to try to increase sales and the Model K was the result. It appeared in 1925 and the company went into liquidation the same year.
