Solved TGF-221: Delpeuch 1922-3
« on: October 10, 2013, 07:33:37 AM »
I'm sorry for the bad quality of this picture...I just know the maker of this (ones upon a time) car.  If you guess it you'll have a point.

Did the company build trucks?

I don't know for sure, but I would say no, as I didn't find any evidence about trucks with this name.

Not a Gobron, more obscure.

Yes, it's from the first half of twenties.

Did you mean that the company that produced this car only made cars during the first half of the twenties, or did you mean that the manufacturer made cars outside of the first half of the twenties, but this particular car was produced in the first half of the twenties?

This maker produced cars just in the first half of the twenties...and this reduces the choice among almost a hundred names ;).

Wow...at the first attempt you hit the target!   It actually is a Delpeuch, from 1922-23.  I add a picture of an advice of that period.

According to "Georgano", there's a strong possibility only one car was ever built, so by the look of that photo, the make is now effectively extinct.
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia
