Wasn't it something to do with the Standard Motor Co. ?

It looks a lot like a cut-down version of the amphibious jeep. The side panels and the canvas screen. ??

How the hell did that get there???????

I saved it earlier in relation to another thread. Please ignore it - My ability with computers is a well-known joke.

The post is supposed to ask whether the puzzle has anything to do with the amphibious GPW.

The Ford 10 engined prototype VB 'jeep' made by the SS Cars Ltd (later renamed Jaguar Cars Ltd) during World War 2.  Designed to be light enough for parachute dropping.

Sorry.  I was amending my post while you were responding.  Is the answer you want that the constructor was SS Cars Ltd which was renamed Jaguar Cars Ltd after WW 2?

Sorry - as english is not my mother tongue I should change my question:

there were two famous engineers that constructed this vehicle.

Name one and the point will be yours.

As it was built by was SS (Jaguar) I assume it was Bill Heynes (the Chief Engineer), Wally Hassan and Claude Bailey who were responsible for the design (It was before Lofty England joined the company).
