The event was the second annual Hot Wheels Northwest National Open at Seattle in 1971.  Don Prudhomme's Hot Wheels 'Cuda...

I understand this is a famous image.  I live less than 10 miles from that race track, yet I only found it recently.

It's famous because it appears he won the race on fire, still doing a wheelie, and if you look closely, even the rear wheels are off the ground...
