Close. Right area geographically. This car has been part of a previous "group puzzle" but not a puzzle in its own right. Hope that helps....

Chevy it is ! You get the point. It's a 1957 Triumph TR3 re-engined with a 350ci Chevy V8.  It was sold recently in restored state, although the only thing left from the TR3 were the number and chassis plates, the front suspension and sundry interior accessories.

It seems to be known by some as a "Ferrari-Triumph" (is that a prancing horse I see on the grille?) because its maker built a body that was supposedly reminiscent of a Ferrari, because he couldn't afford a real one.  Which Ferrari it's supposed to be reminiscent of I'm not sure..
