With a LHD [Innocenti?] Mini and a Fiat 500 in the background is this car Italian?

Its the 'Anti-Cobra" designed and built in 1964 by American Tom Meade in his shop in Maranello Italy for a Swiss Baron, so technically it was Italian, but it was powered by a Corvette V8 engine.

Yes, that is the machine. Point for WayneB. ;) An interesting feature of the car, is the targa top & windows. They can be removed while the doors remain in place.

This car was built simultaneously as the Thomassina 1. Both had their build start dates in 1962. I believe the Thomassina 1 is Ferrari engined & has some body vents up front. While the Anti Cobra is V-8 powered. their is a grainy old youtube video about the Thomassina 1.
