There are a few things which I know about this, thing: the country where it was built, the engine it uses - so if you tell me those, then a point is yours. If you can find the name of its builder and prove it - a 2nd point will be yours.

Well it is right hand drive so that narrows down the countries.

The engine looks like it started life as a stationary unit (i.e. pump or farm machinery) judging by the flywheel (belt drive) on the front.

Am I on the right lines?

That's an interesting question. Only the origin and the size are mentioned in the sources which I found. I suspect it is a Japanese engine - but to give you a clue, it is not from a car
