I'll try again with this kind of puzzle.
Slight change of rule:
I won't reveal the nationality but I can answer to generic questions about that.
It should be easy for one aspect but harder for another...let's see if you are lucky and quick!
(I'll change the rule if it will take too much.)

The bystanders look french - is the car french?
-
I can't reveal the precise nation but only generic questions about.
Anyway it's not French.
-
Central European region? (one of the Warsaw pact countries)
-
Not there (but not far ;) )
-
Before I go any further, I have to clear this nagging thought: is this an Alba?
-
Cyclecar Loryc from Spain?

Cyclecar Loryc from Spain?
and not a Loryc but the place is right!

There“s a similar Soriano-Pedroso...but it“s French.

-
Perhaps I am mad, but is what I see through the shop glass an advert of a Chevrolet about 1925-6?
-
I don“t think there is a connection to Chevrolet.

Elizalde?

So we have a spanish car, pictured in front af a Oakland dealer who has no connection with the car!
The car seems to have a 6 cyclinder engine; does it comes from a well known maker or is it produced by the one we are searching for?

It is a six and produced by the one we are looking for.
Locked for your next guess.
-
Was it made by a company or more like an individual project?
-
It's still locked for targhediferro. ;)

It took me three hours of digging and improving my poor Spanish, but finally I found it. It is the 6 cylinders car built in 1927 in Zaragoza by a man named Lorenzo Grade'. The engine was almost 1100 cc.
-
Correct!
The easy part was that if you google the right words the car can be found online, the hard part was that it's not mentioned in any book (or at least I didn't find it so far)!
Point for you!

Actually I searched in every site and forum I know about spanish (and not only spanish) cars, without any result...than I try with a normal Google research with the only clues I had, "automovil seis cilindros 1924-1925-1926-1927-1928 espana", and I found the site where it's pictured. It seems that Mr.Gradč studied and perhaps realized an engine with a very strange cylinders-disposition, and a particular carburator too. Thank you for the Lock, without it I would have probably overcame by quicker quizzer or I would have quit my research before finding it.

It's true...if you find the right key words you find the source of the pic and since you found the crucial one (it was a Six from Spain) it was fair to give you the chanche to complete it.
Here are some patents of Mr Gradé:
