It's an Armstrong-Siddeley!  Locked for D-Type for 24 hours, to add model, year and coachbuilder.

Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane
1952 ?
Mulliner ?

If I'm wrong, please unlock it in fairness to other autopuzzlers as I'm only making guesses

1952 is correct, but the body isn't a Mulliner job.
Open again. Thank you.

Borrocks!  The grille looked like an Armstrong Siddley the rest was just guesswork.

It's interesting that Hooper did away with the 'suicide' doors.

Sorry to steal the point - it looked so "Hooper" to me from the start. The headlights are odd, since the Hurricane had them in the modern style, built into the bodywork. Quite why Hooper thought they would style it with massive P100-type lights is beyond me.
