It's an 1985 re-do of a previous Imp based kit car from the 70's , but this time using Alfa Romeo Alfa Sud FWD running gear mounted in the rear.(hence the Alfa Romeo steel wheels)

The windscreen it used was from an 1965 to 74 Alfa Romeo Guilia GT/GTV (I recognised it as I have one)

It was made by Peter Sylvester of Dovetail Plastics , Berkshire UK and was called the Kestrell Scorpion.

Apparently only one was made, which was a shame as I remember rusty Alfa Suds all over the place in England the early 80's so it may have done well.

That's the one, yes, although I'm disappointed I didn't get the chance to tell someone it wasn't an Imp-engined Scorpion!

"Production" was originally by Dovetails Plastics of Lambourne Woodlands, Berks but subsequently moved to Kestrel Cars, Chesterfield (which is a bit odd as apparently only one car was ever made..!)

Well done.
