My Dear Friend......

An unbelievable day here.  Six hours left in the day in the US and I believe I will score a "Hat Trick" as they say in European Football.

I was doing some research on Japanese military vehicles, military wheeled vehicles being my primary field of research, for another WWII history forum and found your quiz vehicle.

A Mitsubishi Fuso B-46 from 1932.

As a further point of interest, the owners of Mitsubishi asked their employees to vote on a complete name for the company after they built their first vehicle.

The name chosen was "Fuso" which is actually the Chinese word for "The Sun Rises In The East".  Apparently, this also is a common reference to the nation of Japan.

I offer another photo of the same type of bus here.  There was also another version a year or so later, the BD-46 which was a semi two/dual level bus a year or so later but the only photo I can find is too small to post here.  If anyone has a larger image, it would be nice if you could post  it.

Given that I often go weeks without solving a puzzle, today was a good day..............

Bill
Cheers
Bill

No answer could be more complete. Another point for Bill!
