Just checked my files again, and whilst it's not an American car it is an American conversion kit for it!

Found it, its a 1974 to 78 Datsun B210 Sunny hatchback with a IMSA Can Am inspired aero flair package installed that was made by F.E.D. (Fiberglass Engineering Design) of Indianapolis.

They called it a 210 SX

Sadly its pretty hideous looking from the side. :o

I was in my teens in the 70's so read up all of the Magazines with these kind of cars in. :o

Not very good with the pre-war crocks though..................

This monster was made by a company called F.E.D.  I have a colour brochure for it somewhere, which I will scan in when I find it (so don't hold your breath!).
