Pretty sure that car started out as a 1963 Marcos Fastback GT before it got the Escort world cup arches, Dino style rear window and the Alfa taillights.
Think this may be it(cant find a photo though)1963 Marcos Fastback GT reg no: 999THYFitted with an Alfa Romeo 1600cc engine.Modified with a "Notchback" roofNow in Sweden (since 1986) so I presume its last British owner Christopher Bish from Birmingham did the modifications.
Odd that, Marcos only built 18 fastback GT's, and about 10 still survive.Strange that possibly 2 were converted to that Dino style rear window.
Is the owner name you have for this car Roly Morris from Northhampton ?It says he installed a Alfa Romeo 1750 twincam and 5 speed gearbox into a Marcos Fastback GT with a wrap around tunneled rear window?
