Is the smooth nose and wings the way it is, or has the photo been doctored to remove distinguishing fatures?

1955 Burch Roark Special. Started in 1950 by Burch Roark, of Spokane Washington. 1936 Ford frame with stock dimension wheelbase(112 inches), Ford flathead V8 engine. Chicken wire & plaster mold used to lay fiberglass mat & resin over, never completed.
