Yes.  And I thought this car was hardly known, esp. because it seems never to have been pictured on AP before, yet a Rookie gets it instantly!

Interesting....

At the correct angle, it looks as if it might have been inspired by the contemporary Alvis TD21 which is what I thought it was at first.

It is a bit ungainly, but then the car on which it is based was hardly sprightly..
The grille is interesting and I wonder if that was what influenced the 'new' shape of Jaguar grille from the Mk X onwards?
Of course back in the early fifties Jaguar saloons all had a very upright 1930s/40s style grille.
