Based on a 1933 Ford ?

I don't know what it's based on, just its name, when it dates from (not 1933) and who owns it.

OK, I'll give you that one although I have it as the "Smithfield Special" from 1932.
Clearly from what you say it is Ford-based then..
The photo shows it on the re-anactment of the Cork GP on its 75th anniversary.

the car was built by Louis Lemass  a director of the company to promote sales of the new 8 hp Ford saloon at the instigation of his friend Nathan Lepler , who in true racing car stlyle drew his ideas on a serviette over dinner . Smithfield also marketed a sports version of the saloon ,
