I reread the Italian forum entry about that car. It was not built by RIASC, but registered by RIASC (Registro Italiano Auto Storica Citroen). There is a discussion about the strange Citroen parts conglomeration of this car, and it is probably younger than it looks. I'll PM you the link.

If I read the licence plate correctly that number was issued in 1973 which confirms Wendax findings.
I have seen the car in the metal in 2010 at a Vintage car Rally in Northern Italy and was really impressed by the high quality of the building.

On the Italian site where this car is pictured it seems to be referred to as from 1973, so that might be correct.
But AFAIK in the event in which it's competing in the puzzle picture it was entered by its owner Mr Cecchi as a 1961 Citroen Sport.  He might know something no-one else does!

I'm hoping a real expert on these cars can give a definitive view.
