I'd like to know where it was built and what powers it.
I won't lock it untill it's done.
1 point for that and of course if you know the whole story (and the builder) it will bring you another one.

Built in France in the seventies ??

Paul Jaray

Yes!
A Fiat from Romania. Based on which model?

Paul Jaray

Yes...now only the engine is missing...not a 1089cc Balilla engine.

Paul Jaray

Not Lancia, a Fiat engine, but not a 1100.

Type MM uprated engine by Siata 43bhp ?

Paul Jaray

My source, a magazine clipping, reveals only the displacement and it's not 1100...

spider

The only thing I now they used the 995 cc engine wich was updated by Siata

Paul Jaray

Not 1000 or 1100.
My source reports just a number, bigger than 1100.

spider

The only 508 balilla with a bigger engine I can find is a Romanian called: Fiat Balilla 2516 ccm [Archiwum]
But it looks very different as the one on the picture.

spider

1600 cc   sorry, I realy dont no. Fiat used so many engines.

And spider got the point!
It's based on a Fiat Balilla and it's powered by a 1600cc engine.
If there's anyone who knows more...
