1967 (or thereabouts) Studebaker proposal by Bob Marcks of Marcks, Hazelquist and Powers. Nice how it kind of echos the old Studebaker "Starlite Coupe" rear window. Bob did a lot of renderings for Studebaker, and later Chrysler as well. Some neat stuff, which I hope shows up on this forum.

Yes, that's what it is; was it really as late as 1967 though? I didn't know the date..
It was said to be a proposal for a sedan based on the Starliner but with echoes of the Starlite.
Another point for you and sorry I didn't get back in time to answer you kwgibbs.

Bob Marcks's web site shows this car under the text mentioning Bob working on it following the 1966 Studebakers being styled. It's entirely possible (in fact, likely) that the actual drawing was done prior to 1967 but that's what it is said to depict. Although the changes made to the last production Studes were not excessive and therefore didn't require the longer lead times most styling prototypes go through, the puzzle picture was probably drawn in the mid-1960's, maybe as late as '65. Just a theory.
