Belay my last post. It is the Dave Loring prototype, purportedly it was this car that Bruce Weeks used, to create "steal" the design....for the Invader GT. Photo taken at Dave Lorings shop in Port Orford, Oregon.

Clearly you have the right car!
But it is captioned "Concept Invader GT"; so is this car an Invader or not?!

No it is not. I have owned the Invader GT kit car. I had 2 of them. It is a prototype made by Dave Loring. Supposedly Bruce Weeks visited Dave Loring & buddy, buddied him. Must have took photos & measurements & then built the Invader GT, without permission from Dave Loring. This is what Dave Loring told me. I have spoken with Dave a few times, he is a nice guy.

OK, thanks.
So did Dave call it an Aegean Mantis then, or is it just "Dave Loring prototype used to nick the design for the Invader"?!

No, this would have been a re-post, if it was a Mantis Aegean. Paul Jarey PJ247. No, I believe this was just a prototype that did not have a name.

Not really; it looks quite different.  The name alone is not enough to make it a re-post!
