Fiat 600 multipla based project...perhaps with spanish origin?
...it is a Fiat 600-based proposal.

I don't know this car, but in some parts remind me some other cars from Savio and Fissore; both of them realized different Fiat 600 multiplas. I guess Fissore, even if his Sabrina had just two front lights. The project should came from about 1964.

Not by Fissore, no (nor Savio).
I believe it's a bit earlier than 1964, but it is just a proposal - no car was ever built.

Major European Manufacturer

Was it an idea by Ghia?

Was it an idea by Ghia?
Major European Manufacturer
It's a Fiat proposal, as already established, by a well-known designer; nothing to do with Ghia however.

I don't know of any name for it..
Coggiola?
..but there might have been a link with Coggiola had this proposal gone ahead!
Therefore I'll lock it for you to have another go and see if you can give me the designer's name.

Sorry for my persistence, but how about Fioravanti?
Don't apologise - that's the fun of it!
But I'm afraid it wasn't by Fioravanti..

-
could it be Pietro Frua?

Trevor Fiore :)
-
By Touring ?
-
Not Frua, Fioré or by Touring!
We are looking for an individual here rather than a Carrozzeria.

So is a 1961 styling rendering for a Fiat Multipla type vehicle by a noted designer.
The only noted one not mentioned so far is Giugiaro ;D

It wasn't the Great Maestro Giugiaro's, no.
I said he was well-known rather than noted, but that is in the context of AutoPuzzlers.. The man in the street would never have heard of him, nor would the mainstream car enthusiast have either in all probability. But you would certainly know him!

Stola ?

Stola ?
No.

The drawing style reminds me of Syd Meads earlier work.

I found. Fiat proposal by Aldo Sessano?

I found. Fiat proposal by Aldo Sessano?
Bingo!
The clue was in the Coggiola connection; they interpreted a number of Sessano's designs, although whether he was every actually employed by them I don't know..
Well done.

Well done.
Aldo Sessano always worked as a freelancer resp. consultant for the automotive industry. He had his own studio, but never had his own workshop. He jobbed for many different car companies (Mitsubishi for example), but in most cases and for confidentiality reasons he didn't get credits for his design authorship. That's the main reason why he got less reputation than many other car automotive designers.
-
Good ol' Aldo - stepfather to the Gremlin. 8)
-
What also do Aldo Sessano work on ?
-
There's a special feature about him in an old CarStyling magazine. His portfolio has a wide range. I'll post it the coming days when I find the time...

What also do Aldo Sessano work on ?
Below is a number of Sessano-designed cars to have featured here on AutoPuzzles; these probably cover most of his best-known work.
Plus Otto has mentioned the AMC Gremlin more than once here, so I think he's serious; he must have designed that one too, although I can see why he keeps quiet about it...

which engine?
Don't think it had an engine; it's only a drawing!
Looking at where the people are sitting and the general layout of the vehicle I would say the intention was to base it on the Fiat 600; perhaps it's an early idea for a Multipla?
