I know about as much as you. I have found a photo of the rear end , and commentary from the photo-taker ; when asked about the car the owner didn't know much either ! It's presumed to have been built in the mid-50s with a proprietary glassfibre conversion kit, and the base car is definitely known to be a 1949 Crosley.
