Not the best pic..

Anyway!
Can you identify this little truck?
Further tell me the year it was built.

WOW! I've searched for a better pic the whole internet! As far as I know this Moretti prototype was an one-off.
It looks slightly different on my pic though. Any more info?

I give you one point for identifying the right car, but leave it open for others to add some info. Another point is waiting.

Not a prototype, as far as I know. I'm digging in the history of those vehicles and a serial production looks to have been carried on in the early '50s.

Thank you!
My source says that the puzzle car is the 1954 Moretti 1 ton lorry prototype. I didn't know that Moretti was in the truck business at all.
As I couldn't find anything else on the net I believed it remained the only one.

Moretti has been actually a quite big producer of commercial vehicles. Their activity can be divided in 6 main periods:

- 3-wheeler light commercial vehicles in the 30s
- medium and heavy electric trucks during and just after WWII
- 1 ton commercial vehicles (your one) in the mid 50s. This is not a proto because I've several pictures also as ambulance, van, hearse and other versions
- 1 ton with advanced driving position (similar to Fiat 1100 T) in the late 50s
- light commercial vehicles based on the 750 TDM car during the 50s
- Fiat-based light commercial vehicles (600 M, 1100T, 238) in the late 50s and 60s

Looking at the pic twice I believe the one you posted and pguillems's were originally identical. I don't know which was retouched, but those back windows of the ambulance look a little strange. The ad pic has a blocked background of course.

The one from als15 is IMO the original one.
Check out the passenger side window on both pictures.

Yes that's possible. Strange though that the cut-outs for these passenger windows are different shaped on the right and left side.

A different image for the ambulance, and another one for the Furgone Unificato.

I don't think it were too many that were built. I never saw one survivor ...
